Solution
When you go outside to take a walk you can see at least one piece of litter. There is not one place on this whole earth that it actually clean. Streets, beaches, national parks and now even our water supply are polluted and covered in trash. This is why we want to make a difference. To take better care of our world so we can ultimately have a cleaner environment. If we start small by taking action in our community we can do our part in making the world a cleaner place.
For starters, we made a slideshow presentation in order to educate the public, or in our case our class, to show the how harmful people's liter is slowly destroying our world. We sent out a survey to the whole school about littering and how they personally feel about it. The first question we asked was if they see a piece of litter on the ground do they a) pick it up or b) ignore it. 61% chose a for their answer while only 47% admitted that they do ignore the litter. For our last two questions we asked if they thought it was a big deal to litter and finally do you think litter has a direct effect on the environment. According to our results, most of the people who responded said yes to both questions.What's interesting is that people agreed that littering is a big deal and has a direct effect on the environment but there is still some percent who ignore it

1. Do you think litter affects peoples every day lives?
Yes I do think that litter directly affects peoples lives.
2. What kind of affects do you think litter has on the world?
Liter has a huge impact on marine life because people dump garbage into the ocean. Like the seals and the plastic bags. I think the biggest thing right now is the marine life.
3. What steps do you think should be taken to stop litter and pollution?
Well, PV has lockers that are garbage cans. The problem is nobody really knows about them. There should be more. I also think there should be more town maintenance staff picking up the garbage. Especially in the center of town.
4. Do you think in a couple years litter will have a big affect on the world?
Yes, if it's not taken care of.
5. How do you think we can make people more aware of littering and pollution?
I think there should be more public awareness like short tv commercials or something.

Today we decided on our name of our group. We all decided that "Cleaner Environment Better World" was a perfect fit for what we want to do.

Since today is the final day, we put finishing touches on our project. We decided how we wanted to organize our presentation.
